About Michelle
Michelle E. Abramczyk joined the firm as a Summer Associate in 2022 and returned as an Associate Attorney in fall 2023. She graduated from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. Prior to law school, she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in both English and Spanish from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan and graduated with Distinction. While at Michigan, she studied abroad at La Universidade de Santiago de Compostela in Spain and Oxford University St. Peter’s College in Oxford, England.

Michelle’s practice includes representing individuals and families with regard to wills, trusts, and estate planning, as well as estate and trust litigation. Her real estate practice includes residential and farmland transactions, litigation, and easement disputes. Michelle also represents landlords in eviction matters. Her corporate practice includes entity formation, business operations, and business litigation. She also represents clients in family law matters, including premarital and postnuptial agreements, divorce, and custody cases.

Michelle is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Decatur Bar Association. Michelle lives in Decatur with her husband (Ryan) and their rabbit (Poppy).
