About Mark
Mark E. Jackson graduated from Lawrence University, Appleton, Wisconsin in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in economics. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1974 with a Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, he published an article in the Illinois Bar Journal entitled “Governmental Immunity – A Plan for Legislative Action” (Illinois Bar Journal, February 1973). He is a member of Defense Research Institute and Leading Lawyers Network.
Mr. Jackson has been active in the Decatur community, having served on many boards and as President of Webster-Cantrell Hall, The Decatur Club, and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He currently serves on the Board of The Community Foundation of Decatur/Macon County and as an elder at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
